I'm Kayla Occhipinti and I'm The Gypsy Baker. It's not a job for me to bake and simply create, it's a part of my life. I began baking at 6 years old with my aunt 'Tee Wee'. We created all kinds of goodies with homemade frosting. Our baking sessions quickly became a weekly tradition and it is the reason I love what I do now.
My baking style is a mix of modern trends with old-fashioned Italian and Polish heritage. The opportunity to bring some traditional recipes and memories into households inspires me, as I hope it inspires others to continue these wholesome traditions in their kitchens with family.
I have always gravitated toward creative work and with every creation, I pour all of my love, my passion, and a little bit of glitter in every bite. I love bringing your ideas to life and will discuss all the details to make your sweet confection dreams on powdered sugar clouds come true.
I strive to make the ordering process easy and fun, so you can focus on your special occasion. My goal is to surpass expectations; to go above and beyond to create the perfect sweets and treats to your personalized taste and liking. I couldn't do what I love without all of the support of every single customer. I love making people happy; to make someone's day. I'm so grateful to be doing this. ​Karen enjoyed baking, gardening and solving crossword puzzles, but there was no greater joy in her life than spending time with her nieces and nephews. Despite enduring physical setbacks in her life, Karen kept a strong faith in God and love for her family.
